To keep our beautiful vintage silk fabrics out of a landfill, we fashioned the fabrics leftover from the garments into patchworked scarves. The patterns were taken from vintage kimonos that are over 30 years old. We first made these fabrics into Satoko Coats. What was not used for the coats, now has a new life as this gorgeous scarf/sash.

Fabrics - 100% Silk. The patterns used in this scarf are a mixture of different colors that reminded us of autumn foilage as they change into brillant shades signaling the change of season.  Sashiko stitching highlights some of the panels for added dimension. Material from the Kyoto Prefecture in Japan.
