To keep our beautiful vintage silk fabrics out of a landfill, we fashioned the fabrics leftover from the garments into patchworked scarves. The rose colored Lilies pattern was taken from a vintage kimono that is over 30 years old and originally made into the Color Blocked Lilies Satoko Coat. 

Faceside Fabrics - 100% Silk. Color Blocked jacquard weave with graceful lilies from two different kimonos. The fabric from the pink kimono is stunning with the dark and light silver metallic threads woven in to the fabric. The black jacquard has a lacquer coated black embroidery thread to enhance the flower images woven in the fabric. Both are from the Kyoto Prefecture in Japan.
