11" x 21" Vintage Obi Pillow

Kimono, a traditional Japanese garment, literally means "thing to wear".  They are traditionally made from bolts of fabric known as tanmono, which are woven to a width of approximately 14 inches and 12 yards in length. There are many different time consuming processes and techniques involved in creating the fabric, and they are truly works of art - passed down through generations.

These amazing textiles are too beautiful to be stored away.  Surround yourself with our elegant pillows and enjoy incredible pieces of art in your home everyday.

Removable Pillow Cover with Invisible Zipper - 100% floral jacquard silk ground with a stripe shibori, (tie dye), pattern on the face and back. In addition to the design and color the shibori dying technique creates, it also gives the fabric texture.  Backside is slightly different as the stripe pattern only covers half of the pillow. Made from a haori, (kimono coat), found in the Hokkaido Prefecture in Japan.

Pillow Insert - 10% down/90% feather, cotton cover. Made in USA.

Reversible Pillow - Backside is part solid black floral jacquard with stripe on one half of the pillow.

Care - Dry Clean Only

Designed, Cut and Sewn in USA.

Returns - if you need to make a return contact us within 10 days for a RMA#.
