11" x 21" Vintage Kimono Pillow
Kimono, a traditional Japanese garment, literally means "thing to wear". They are traditionally made from bolts of fabric known as tanmono, which are woven to a width of approximately 14 inches and 12 yards in length. There are many different time consuming processes and techniques involved in creating the fabric, and they are truly works of art - passed down through generations.
These amazing textiles are too beautiful to be stored away. Surround yourself with our elegant pillows and enjoy incredible pieces of art in your home everyday.
Removable Pillow Cover with Invisible Zipper - 100% silk, printed engineered pattern of leaves with an overprinted red color that adds an extra dimension of richness. The backside has an engineered print of olive and golden leaves on one half. We were able to make two pillows, and have them set up so if you have them side by side the back pattern of golden leaves meets in the center. This is the same print we used in the front binding and back pleat of our Floating Leaves Satoko Coat. From Hokkaido Prefecture in Japan.
